Ejeh Reuben: Friends, colleagues react to death of young Benue lawyer

Tears and tributes have continued to pour in for fast-rising Benue lawyer, Jacobs Ejeh Reuben.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the young lawyer, who hailed from Ikpochi Itabono, in Owukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State died after a long battle with brain tumor.

Contrary to the earlier report by IDOMA VOICE that he could not raise the N1.5m needed for the operation, another family member has claimed that the money was raised but the operation failed.

He was taken to Owukpa after the last operation failed.

She described his demise as God’s will.

“I read the report earlier that he was abandoned or could not raise the money. Well, we don’t want to go into details on who gave money or not, but the truth is, the money was raised but the surgery failed twice.

“We can’t question God. May his soul rest in peace,” the lady said amid tears.

Here are some moving tributes to the vibrant lawyer whose sun set at noon.
