Chairman, Project Development Institute, PRODA, board chairman, Daniel Onjeh, has congratulated Nigerians over the singing of the Electoral Act Amendment Bill by President Muhammdu Buhari on Friday.
IDOMA VOICE reports that President Buhari bowed to pressure and assented to the bill on Friday amid applause from Nigerians.
Reacting, Onjeh said Buhari imprinted his foot in the sands of time.
He wrote in a terse WhatsApp broadcast.
“Congratulations to Nigerians on the signing of the Electoral Bill ! Indeed our democracy has been greatly consolidated and strengthened. Thanks to the CSOs ! Thanks to the NASS! ! Thanks to President Muhammadu Buhari !!! You’ve imprinted your foot in the sands of time Mr. President,” Onjeh wrote.
