Unwaba-Eyiokpa, a community in Ugboju District of Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State that has never had electricity since time immemorial has caught the attention of Hon. Oche Joseph Godwin of G12 Foundation Club.
Hon. Oche G12 who visited the area on Sunday April 27th, 2020 with some members of his team decried the lack of electricity in the community and promised to send experts to survey and give him feedback in no distance time.
Recalled that Hon. Oche earlier flagged off an electrification project in nearby communities namely: Ombi 1, Ombi 2, Ipolo 1, Ipolo 2, and Enanjile villages in Ugboju. The electrification projects in these villages is said to have cost the philanthropist over 17 million naira.
Mr. G12 who also visited Ogobia and Onyagede took out to sensitize residents and natives of the areas on the how to combat corona virus pandemic which is presently ravaging the world.
He noted that everyone needs to respect the stay at home order given by the government and ensure regular and constant washing of the hands with soap and running water, Frequent used of alcohol based hand sanitizers and practicing of social distance amongst etc.
