Emeka Oduoza, son of NOVA Merchant Bank Chairman is dead

Emeka Oduoza, a promising investment banker, passed away over the weekend in New York, USA. Until his demise, he held a respected position at Blackstone, one of the world’s leading financial institutions. Hailing from New York, Emeka was known for his excellence, dedication, and significant contributions within the finance sector in the United States.

Emeka’s career was marked by his unwavering commitment to his craft, a forward-looking vision for growth, and a steadfast adherence to financial principles. He made a lasting impact on colleagues, friends, and family, fostering meaningful relationships and leaving behind a legacy of kindness and excellence.

Blackstone, in a statement, expressed their deep appreciation for Emeka’s contributions. “Emeka was not just a cherished family member and friend; he was a respected member of the Blackstone community. Emeka is survived by his parents, Jumai and Phillips Oduoza, his brother Uzoma, nephew, sister-in-law, as well as numerous uncles, aunties, and cousins. His funeral is scheduled for September 5 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Emeka’s legacy lives on through the kindness, generosity, and excellence he exemplified throughout his life.
