It was a celebration day for the people of Delta and Benue state as they trooped in National University Commission to witness the inauguration of Chief.Hon.Dr.Nelson Alapa into the board of Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta state.
Hon. Nelson Alapa, a former House of Representative member who served the people of Otukpo/Ohimini federal Constituency accepted the appointment with gratitude to God and the Federal Government for finding him worthy of service in strengthening the educational structure of Tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
The inauguration ceremony was chaired by Arc. Sunny Echono, permanent secretary federal ministry of education today 19th April, 2021.
Hon. Nelson also extends his gratitude to the council of chiefs from Delta state who accompanied the chairman of the board to present the letter of appointment.
Abbah Yaro, Benue state’s APC Chairman was also there to felicitate with Hon. Alapa saying the new feat is well deserved.
