The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has ordered the reopening of all schools in the state, following an end to the End SARS protest.
Abiodun said school should reopen in the state with effect from Monday, October 26.
This is coming barely five days after Gov Abiodun closed all schools in Ogun as a result of the crises that followed the End SARS protests.
In a statement on Kunle Somorin, his Chief Press Secretary, on Sunday, Abiodun said peace has returned to all parts of Ogun State.
The peace, he said, was as a result of the suspension of the protest.
The statement said, “This is to announce to the general public that all schools are to resume academic activities tomorrow, Monday, 26th October, 2020.
According to Somorin, “with peace returned to all parts of the State after organisers suspended protests,” Government said it has “no reservations, whatsoever in reopening schools tomorrow.”
