Governor Yahaya Bellow of Kogi State has claimed that the nationwide protest tagged End SARS was politically motivated.
According to him, the End SARS protest, which rocked the nation, was like the voice of Jacob but hand of Essau.
He told Channels TV that some politicians were backing the agitators.
His words, “Whether anybody said it or not, I am saying it once again. Quote me anywhere, any day.
“Why would they demand for five items and you have been granted but you have refused to take it?
“Which uprising, agitation or protest across the world has ever succeeded without leadership?
“I support the agitation 100 per cent but if you look at what is happening in Nigeria today, you will have no choice that to classify it as politically motivated by those who set them up.”
