End SARS: Super Eagles’ midfielder, John Ogu ‘resigns’ over killing of protesters
Nigeria Super Eagles’ midfield maestro, John Ogu, has resigned from representing Nigeria at international competition competition.
Aladalah FC of Saudi Arabia player revealed this on verified Twitter page on Tuesday.
Ogu who took the decision in solidarity with the killing of over 15 End SARS protesters at Lekki toll gate in Lagos, said politicians should invite their children to go represent Nigeria in the next Super Eagles’ matches.
“The Politicians should asked their children to go and represent Nigeria in the next @NGSuperEagles , @thenff upcoming games 💔💔💔,” he tweeted.
IDOMA VOICE had earlier reported that Nigerian soldiers trapped the unarmed protesters around the toll gate on Tuesday evening. At least 15 were confirmed killed by witnesses and those beaming development from the scened live on Tuesday night.
