End SARS: Warders freed prisoners from Edo Prison – Olunloyo

Controversial investigative journalist, Dr Kemi Olunloyo has claimed that prisons officers were behind the jailbreak in Edo on Monday.

According to her, the inmates were actually set free by the prison warders due to their frustration on corruption.

She tweeted, “Dear @CorrectionsNg aka Nigerian prisons. A TOP official just notified me as an Invstg Journalist that your WARDERS FREED inmates at the “White House” Benin themselves They support protesters & tired of the in-house corruption. #EndSARS. #EndBadGovernance. #60yearsoffailure.”
