Youths from Idoma community, particularly, Enone axis, have hailed renowned philanthropist, Philip Agbese, after dropping his senatorial ambition for House of Representatives.
Agbese, famously known as Okanga, had few months back declared his intention to represent the people of Benue South at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
His ambition, was, however, greeted with mixed reactions, with many of his teeming supporters, urging him to come rescue Enone from ‘arrogance and propaganda.”
However, after a wide consultation, Chief Agbese on Saturday, has yielded to the cries of the people and has now accepted to run for the Enone ticket in the Green Chambers.
His decision excited many Idoma youths, who are already celebrating his decision.
