Our attention has been drawn to some negative, mischievous and self serving post for reward on Facebook by one Edeh Emmanuel Edeh wherein he alleged that our Principal, Hon Chief Philip Agbese sent some thugs to attack him in his home town, Apa-Agila.
The said Edeh Emmanuel Edeh has never met our principal let alone being friends on Facebook and his purported support for another aspirant is not in any way a threat to Hon. Chief Philip Agbese who is well known for his peace advocacy and investment of personal resources on purposes to unite his people as a nation.
The general public should disregard the falsehood, calculated blackmail and the sponsored propaganda to score cheap political points for the sponsor and to tarnish the soaring image of our principal, Hon Chief Philip Agbese.
Okanga who is a UK trained lawyer, does not patronize thugs let alone keeping such. He respects people and their individual views and freewill to support whoever pleases their political fantasy as an activist.
The post by Edeh Emmanuel is for monetary benefits as it’s sponsored. People who know Edeh very well can attest to his antics for whatever benefits. The purpose of the post has been defeated because Okanga is a peace maker which everyone from Agila in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State can testify to it in all honesty.
Okanga rising profile is a threat to some politicians who see the young philanthropist cruising to victory in 2023 and they are trying to whip up sentiment against him but the public know better.
Everyone in tune with change supports Okanga’s ambition. If Edeh has issues with his kinsmen, he should go and resolve with them, leave the leading aspirant of All Progressive Congress (APC) out of his personal issues.
Okanga will not hesitate to take legal action for defamation of character if this kind of evil and malicious post persist with Edeh Emmanuel Edeh. We therefore demand that the post by Edeh Emmanuel Edeh be retracted within 48hrs and an unreserved apology tendered to the highly respected community leader. Failure to do so will leave Hon. Chief Philip Agbese with no option but to activate the necessary legal action against the said Edeh Emmanuel Edeh to get Justice.
Let the wise be warned!
