Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi Adaje has formally declared his intention to contest the House of Representatives seat for Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Adaje made the declaration in his Ingle/Okaple Ward in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, where he addressed a large crowd of supporters and party faithful.

In his speech, he anchored his campaign on “Ojegicho”, which he explained means progress, emphasizing the need for development, effective representation, and renewed hope for the constituency.

Speaking at the event, Adaje said, “The time has come for a new direction in Enone. For too long, our people have not been adequately represented, and we cannot continue this way. I stand here today as the change we have all been waiting for.”

He added, “This is not just about ambition; it is about service, development, and restoring the voice of our people at the National Assembly.”

Following his ward declaration, Adaje moved to the Edumoga Central Working Committee of the ADC, where he presented his ambition before an expanded caucus meeting of the party.

Addressing stakeholders, he said, “The ADC remains a credible and people-focused party. I am here to seek your support and your mandate to fly the party’s ticket so we can collectively deliver quality representation to our people.”

Reacting, some party leaders commended his decision to join the race, assuring him of a fair process.

One of the leaders said, “We commend Hon. Adaje for this bold step. The party will ensure a level playing field for all aspirants, and the best candidate will emerge through a transparent process.”

Another stakeholder noted, “Hon. Adaje has shown commitment to the development of Enone over the years. We believe he has what it takes to represent the constituency effectively at the National Assembly.”
