Enone 2027: Inalegwu Ejembi Adaje intensifies consultations, woos ADC stakeholders in Okpokwu
Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi Adaje has continued his consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections with a formal declaration of his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.
Adaje made the declaration on Sunday during a meeting with the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Okpokwu Local Government Area.
The meeting brought together ward leaders from the 12 wards, local government executives, critical stakeholders, elders, as well as women and youth groups of the party.
Speaking at the event, Adajesaid he has what it takes to move the constituency from obscurity to prosperity.
“I have the capacity, the experience and the commitment to take our people from obscurity to prosperity. This journey is about service, development, and giving our people a stronger voice,” he said.
According to him, his aspiration is driven by the desire to bring meaningful development, empower the people, and ensure effective representation at the National Assembly.
“I am stepping forward because I believe our constituency deserves better representation. Together, we can build a future of opportunities for our people,” he added.
Some stakeholders at the event described him as a candidate to beat if given the ADC ticket, praising his resilience and consistency over the years.
“He is a candidate to beat. His resilience, accessibility, and connection with the grassroots stand him out among others,” one of the stakeholders said.
They urged him not to relent in his ambition, assuring him of their continued support.
“We encourage him to remain focused and not give up. With the kind of support he is receiving, we are confident he will go far,” another stakeholder added.
