EPL: Alex Iwobi nominated for Premier League player of the month award

Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month alongside De Bruyne and other big names.

The midfielder has been rewarded for his consistent show of class in Everton’s team, winning tackles, interceptions, duels as well as completing dribbles.

The 26-year-old also provided the assist for Neal Muapay to score the only goal against West Ham.

Iwobi has made two assists in the last two games, winning Man of the Match against West Ham and has been nominated alongside Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Jacob Ramsey (Aston Villa), Phillip Billing (Bournemouth) and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Tottenham Hotspur) for the Player of the Month award.

Iwobi was also named in Alan Shearer’s team of the last game week.
