EPL: Aribo scores, Iwobi assists in Southampton’s defeat to Everton

Two Super Eagles players were involved in Everton’s away win against Southampton.

Joe Aribo featured for Southampton while Alex Iwobi dazzled in Everton’s midfield in a string contest.

Iwobi’s Everton secured a back to back win to ensure only their second win of the season.

Southampton broke the deadlock in the 49th minute via a sublime finish from Nigerian star, Joe Aribo.

Everton drew level within just three minutes of conceding as Conor Coady scored from inside the 18 yard box after a free kick from McNeil was headed towards the path of the goal scorer.

Two minutes later, Everton completed a comeback as Alex Iwobi crossed the ball towards the path of Dwight McNeil to smash the ball home.
