EPL: Arsenal move to sign Galatasaray defender, Victor Nelsson

Arsenal is currently considering the prospect of acquiring Victor Nelsson, the defender from Galatasaray.

The Arsenal team views Nelsson as a potential solution to provide depth, primarily due to the unfortunate ACL injury suffered by Jurrien Timber.

Nelsson’s contractual terms encompass a buyout clause valued at €25 million. He has secured a place on Arsenal’s shortlist of potential signings as they approach the imminent closure of the transfer window this week.

Rudy Galetti, a reputable source on transfer matters as noted on Tribalfootball.com, has conveyed the situation: “In light of Timber’s injury setback, Arsenal is actively seeking to reinforce their central defensive lineup. Within Arsenal’s selection, four options have emerged, with Victor Nelsson emerging as one of the notable candidates. The Galatasaray player is bound by a release clause amounting to €25 million.”
