West Ham remain without a Premier League point after suffering a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of unbeaten Brighton.
The visitors took the lead in the first half as Hammers debutant Thilo Kehrer scythed Seagulls striker Danny Welbeck down just inside in the box. Alexis Mac Allister tucked the resulting spot-kick coolly into the bottom-right corner.
Brighton sealed the win after the break as Pascal Gross played Leandro Trossard in behind, the forward slotting a low shot past Lukasz Fabianski.
The result sees West Ham slump to their third straight defeat — with David Moyes’ men still yet to score a league goal this term.
