EPL final day: Full list of teams qualifying for UEFA competitions confirmed

Following the conclusion of the 2024/2025 Premier League season on Sunday, the six English clubs that will feature in next season’s UEFA Champions League have been confirmed.

Chelsea sealed their place in Europe’s elite competition with a narrow 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. Levi Colwill netted the decisive goal, converting a low cross from Neto to secure fourth place for the Blues.

Manchester City wrapped up a challenging season on a positive note, defeating Fulham 2-0 through goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland. Despite the win, Pep Guardiola’s men finished third behind Liverpool and Arsenal, who had already secured their Champions League spots.

Newcastle United, despite a 1-0 home defeat to Everton, claimed the final Champions League slot via their league position.

Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, had already booked their place in the Champions League earlier in the week by winning the UEFA Europa League final, where they edged Manchester United 1-0.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have secured berths in next season’s Europa League, benefiting from their performances and the outcome of this season’s FA Cup competition.

Nottingham Forest, despite the loss to Chelsea, clinched a spot in the UEFA Conference League, rounding off the list of English clubs in European football next season.
