Fulham, Alex Iwobi’s new Premier League club, have officially announced the shirt number he will be wearing at Craven Cottage.
The London-based club unveiled Iwobi’s jersey number through their official Twitter account, revealing that the Nigeria international will sport the number 22.
Iwobi made the switch to Fulham from Everton on the previous Friday, securing a five-year contract. The transfer cost Fulham £22 million, inclusive of various add-ons to finalize the deal.
Notably, Iwobi’s transfer stands as the second most expensive acquisition in Fulham’s history, trailing only behind Jean Michael Seri, who joined the Whites from Ligue 1 club OGC Nice in 2018.
