Nigerian midfielder, Alex Iwobi has been nominated for Fulham’s Goal of the Month accolade, with the nomination stemming from his goal in the Cottagers’ 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Norwich City on September 27.
This marked the 27-year-old’s first goal for Marco Silva’s team.
Chibuzor Nwoko, a Nigerian-born youngster, has also earned a nomination for the award due to his goal in Fulham’s U-18 team’s 3-1 triumph against Chelsea.
Among the other contenders for the award are Ollie O’Neil, Lille Lambird, Tia Foreman, Callum Osmand, Madi Parsonson, Matt Dibley-Dias, and Callum McFarlane.
