EPL: Nottingham Forest hold Chelsea 1-0 at home

Taiwo Awoniyi, a striker for the Super Eagles, provided the crucial assist that propelled Nottingham Forest to a 1-0 triumph over Chelsea on Saturday, at Stamford Bridge.

Awoniyi, who started the match, played a pivotal role until his substitution in the 65th minute, while Ola Aina exited the game in the 73rd minute.

Nottingham Forest seized the lead in the 48th minute when Awoniyi delivered a splendid pass to Anthony Elanga, who expertly placed the ball past Robert Sanchez.

Following this victory, Nottingham Forest has climbed to the ninth position in the league standings with six points, while Chelsea currently occupies the 11th spot with four points.

In another exciting match, Brentford settled for a 2-2 home draw against Bournemouth, with the Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka joining the action when he was brought on in the 71st minute.

Meanwhile, at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City delivered a resounding 5-1 victory over Fulham, while Tottenham Hotspur convincingly defeated Burnley 5-2 in their respective encounters.
