Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund has earned the title of the speediest player at Manchester United in the current Premier League season.
Hojlund made his transition to United from Atalanta during this year’s summer transfer window.
He recently had his debut for Manchester United in a match against Arsenal on Sunday, September 3, at the Emirates, which ended in a 3-1 defeat. Hojlund replaced Antony in the 66th minute.
As reported on premierleague.com, Hojlund showcased impressive speed during his cameo appearance and secured the fifth position in the list of top speeds recorded during the first four games of the season, clocking in at an impressive 35.45 km/h.
The top spot was claimed by Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth) with a remarkable speed of 36.10 km/h, followed by Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) at 35.67 km/h.
Gordon also secured the third position with a speed of 35.65 km/h, and Adama Traore (Fulham) stood fourth with a speed of 35.55 km/h.
Another Manchester United winger, Alejandro Garnacho, also made it to the list, clinching the sixth position with a speed of 35.01 km/h.
Hojlund has showcased his prowess on the field by scoring six goals in six matches during the UEFA Euros qualifiers for Denmark, where they currently hold the second position in Group H with 13 points from six games.
In the ongoing term, Hojlund has participated in a single game for Manchester United. Presently, the Red Devils hold the 11th position in the Premier League standings, securing six points after playing four matches in the division.
