Matchday 19 of the English Premier League gave us some excitement and also let downs across 9 different match centers.
The biggest match of the weekend was the meeting of Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield but unfortunately it was a drab affair.
Chelsea was able to smoke out a narrow victory in the London Derby despite a poor performance thanks to Mason Mount.
Two goals from John Stones and one each from Sterling and Gundogan propelled City back into the title race and they now look like contenders once more.
There was also wins for the likes of Leicester City, Arsenal and Tottenham in their respective fixtures.
It is still a keenly contested affair when you look at the league table, just four points seperating 5th place Tottenham from Man U at the summit.
As usual the best players from the week are compiled based on individual performances and then combined into a team to make up the team of the week. For week 19, we have the following players;
Goalkeeper: Allison Becker (Liverpool)
Defenders: John Stones (Manchester City), Cedric Soares (Arsenal), Willy Boly (Wolves) & Ruben Dias (Manchester City)
Midfielders: Matheus Pereira (West Brom), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal), Youri Tielemans (Leicester City), Mason Mount (Chelsea), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
Attacker: Callum Robinson (Westbrom)
Putting the following players together in a 4-5-1 formation this is how they look;
Arsenal dominates with three players, Man City got two, while Mason Mount is the only representative from Chelsea. No Man U or Liverpool player on the list this time around.
