Ahead of their upcoming Premier League match against Manchester City on October 8, Arsenal have received a significant boost on the injury front.
Bukayo Saka was spotted training with Arsenal on Monday morning, dispelling concerns following another injury scare. Additionally, midfielder Thomas Partey, who was recovering from an injury, also participated in the training session.
This welcome news comes after Arsenal’s triumphant 4-0 victory against Bournemouth, where Saka made a notable contribution by scoring a goal. The young England international had previously been uncertain for the match due to a previous injury, sustained in the game against Tottenham Hotspur.
Saka was seen limping in the second half and was eventually replaced by Fabio Vieira in the 76th minute. Manager Mikel Arteta revealed in the post-match interview that Saka had suffered a “bad knock” during the match.
However, despite the initial concerns, Saka trained without any hindrance on Monday in preparation for the upcoming clash against Manchester City, as well as their midweek UEFA Champions League fixture against RC Lens.
