Ethiopian Airlines, widely recognised as Africa’s premier carrier, has announced plans to double its daily flights from Lagos to Addis Ababa beginning July 1.
With the introduction of 14 weekly flights, the expanded service will offer passengers greater flexibility, faster connections, and reduced travel times to a variety of key destinations across Africa and Asia.
The revised schedule will feature four evening departures from Lagos at 10:00 p.m., three early morning flights at 5:40 a.m., in addition to the current daily midday service.
Mrs Firiehiwot Mekonnen, Ethiopian Airlines’ Area Manager for Nigeria, noted that the additional frequencies are aimed at enhancing customer experience and driving down travel costs.
“We are delighted to offer more flight options from Lagos. These additional services will enhance customer experience and reduce travel costs for our passengers,” she said.
The increased connectivity is particularly beneficial for travellers en route to major international destinations such as Dubai, São Paulo, Tel Aviv, and Mumbai.
