‘Every sinner has a future’ – El-Rufai reminds Nigerians

Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has taken to social media to share a piece of wisdom, urging Nigerians to consider the transformative power of redemption.

He invoked the words of Mother Teresa, the revered Catholic nun and founder of the Missionaries of Charity, to emphasise the potential for change in individuals.

He quoted Mother Teresa, stating, “Every sinner has a future. Every saint has a past.”

This sentiment holds significance in light of recent events surrounding El-Rufai.

The Nigerian Senate declined to confirm his nomination as a federal minister, citing security concerns.

President Bola Tinubu had nominated El-Rufai for a ministerial role, but he faced a setback during the screening process.

El-Rufai was captured in a video saying muslims will rule Kaduna State forever.
