Ewulo 2019: PDP executives adopt Hon. Comr. Idah Ben Okopi as sole candidate (Unopposed)

The Executives of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ewulo Ward, Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State has adopted Hon. Comrade Idah Ben Okopi as the sole candidate (Unopposed) for the ward councillorship position ahead of the coming LGA elections.

The executives who zoned the councillorship position to the Zone-B of the ward which consist of Igbanonmaje, Edikwu, and Ikobi, unanimously endorsed Hon. Idah on the ground that the current Otukpo LGA caretaker chairman and consensus candidate (Hon. Chief George Alli) of the party is from Zone-C which consist of Asa II & III, Akpegede, Otobi and Ojantele.

The excos went further to say that since the current Ward Party chairman (Mr. Adakaje Owunebe) is from Zone-A which consist of Upu and Otada, the councillorship position should go to Zone-B.

The excos and caucus of Zone-B after series of deliberations and meetings presented Hon. Idah Ben Okopi as their anointed candidate from the zone.

Idah on his path thanked the party chieftains, excos and members for the privilege as he promised to utilize the opportunity to the fullest.
