Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Micheal Kaase Aondoakaa SAN, has rejected the purported election that produced Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia as the governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress in Benue State.
Recall that Rev Fr Ali was declared winner of the exercise after he reportedly polled over 500,000 votes ahead of her opponents.
Reacting, Aondoakaa described the exercise as a charade that must not be allowed to stand.
He made his stand known while presenting his petition before the gubernatorial petition committee at the party’s state secretariat.
He said, “The charade must not be allowed to stand.”
IDOMA VOICE reported earlier that Terhemba Shija had in his own petition called for the outright cancellation of the election that produced Alia.
