It is not longer a news that the Super Eagles of Nigeria has a new technical adviser in Josep Peseiro as he has Coached the national team in two games against Mexico and Ecuador in the USA.
The new Technical Adviser however paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare at the Ministers conference room on Thursday morning.
Jose Peseiro said his one mission is to win the African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) for Nigeria because he sees quality within the squad.
“I came here for one goal, I want to win the next AFCON for my fantastic players and Nigerians”.
He went on to say he is confident because his team is packed with exceptional talents as he has followed the team’s footballing history since 1994 and he would love to to bring back joy to Nigerians again.
Jose Peseiro who had worked with top sides like Real Madrid, FC Porto, Braga et al said he was grateful for the opportunity handed to him to manage one of the biggest footballing brand to have emanated from Africa.
In attendance was The Chairman League Management Company of Nigeria and NFF 2nd Vice President, Alhaji Shehu Dikko, NFF General Secretary Alhaji Dr Mohammed Sunusi, NFF Media director Mr Ademola Olajire.
