After reading the story, Amb. Dickson Akoh, National Commandant, Peace Corps of Nigeria reached out to this reporter through his foundation on his intention to help make Oloche’s dream come true.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, IDOMA VOICE newspaper organized an event in honour of the young inventor on Friday and was graced by Amb. Akoh, Evang. Okloho Adam, lawmaker representing Adoka/Ugboju state assembly and other prominent Idoma natives.
After exhibiting his inventions, Amb. Akoh made a cash donation of five hundred thousand naira to be lodged in an account, which shall serve to raise endowment fund for young Oloche’s university education outside the country.
He also gave N50k for his upkeep while Okloho as well donated N50k in support of the boy’s dream. Other participants equally supported the young man’s dream with cash.
Amb. Akoh thanked the management of IDOMA VOICE for discovering the boy, while assuring that he would do everything within his power to send the young Oloche abroad for his tertiary education courtesy of his foundation.
