The Idoma students held their day at the Bayero University, Kano on Saturday amid fun and glamour.
There was presentation of proverbs, Idoma songs, adages and their meanings. Giving of gifts to those who interpreted proverbs correctly.
People from different tribes: Yoruba, Hausa, Ibo, nupe etc graced the occasion. Idoma dance troupe added razzmatazz to the event.
The history of Idoma, components and festivals in idmaland were narrated to the audience by the NAIS president, Oche Sale Japhet Ngbede and Ochanya, Josephine Aleyi.
