Explosion hits Rivers Assembly as lawmakers move to impeach Wike’s successor, Fubara
An explosion Sunday night ripped through the Rivers State House of Assembly complex.
This incident came amid alleged moved by somelawmakers to instigate the impeachment of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
According to reports, the explosion occurred around 9:25 pm when unidentified arsonists allegedly hurled an explosive device into the complex, igniting a fire within the building.
The blast resulted in the destruction of some property within the chamber.
