The Acting Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has officially arrived at the Governor’s office to take the oath of office as the substantive leader of the state.
According to IDOMA VOICE, Aiyedatiwa is set to be sworn in today in Akure, the state capital, following the passing of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to be conducted by the state Chief Judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola, in Akure, with no anticipated changes in the plan.
Inside the Cocoa Hall of the Governor’s office in Akure, commissioners, aides, and guests have already taken their seats in preparation for the significant swearing-in event.
Reports indicate that Aiyedatiwa, who had been in his hometown of Igbokoda for the Christmas and New Year break, has returned to assume his official duties.
