The social media space is currently agog with the news that famous Nollywood actor, James Ikechukwu Okolue, otherwise known as Jim Iyke has converted to Islam.
The report, as seen by IDOMA VOICE, which is being widely celebrated among Muslim faithful showed the Nollywood bad boy flanked by an alfa.
The report quoted a certain Sulaiman Yusuf Njoku, the Chief Imam of Imo State, as saying that the actor performed his first Islamic rites on Wednesday.

Profile of Jim Iyke
Jim Iyke was born in Libreville, Gabon. His parents, from Ogwugwu Village in Enugu Agidi town of Anambra State, changed their name from Okolue to Esomugha. He is the only boy in a family of eight children. He attended secondary school in F. G. C. Kwali Abuja from 1985 to 1991, then earned a diploma in Banking and Finance and a BSc in Philosophy from the University of Jos, Plateau State.

In his reaction, the actor in a video shared on his Instagram page denied ever converting to Islam.
He said the pictures being spread on social media were taken from a movie tittled Sango Boys.
