FACT CHECK: Ochacho did not land in Otukpo with private jet

Claims circulating on social media that Benue billionaire and real estate mogul, Mohammed Odeh Adah, popularly known as Ochacho, landed in Otukpo with a private jet have been found to be false.
The rumour was sparked by a viral Facebook post from a page known as Idoma Boy, which alleged that Ochacho flew into Otukpo and landed at a local primary school with his newly acquired private aircraft.
The post was accompanied by an image that quickly went viral, attracting hundreds of comments and shares.
However, a verification by IDOMA VOICE reveals the story is entirely unfounded.
Otukpo currently has no airport or functional airstrip capable of accommodating a private jet.
Aviation experts confirm that private jets, depending on their model, require a minimum runway length of 3,000 to 5,000 feet, which cannot be met by any open field or school compound in the area.
Further checks show there is no official record or credible evidence that Mr. Adah owns a private jet as of this time.
Also, the image accompanying the post appears to be AI-generated or digitally altered, showing several visual inconsistencies typical of fake or manipulated content.
Residents and observers have since dismissed the report as a publicity stunt or social media fabrication.
Verdict: FALSE
There is no truth to the claim that Ochacho landed a private jet in Otukpo. The image is misleading, and the town lacks the infrastructure required for such an aircraft.
