Claim that the Otukpo roundabout is the largest in West Africa is false, findings by IDOMA VOICE have revealed.
There have been claims among some youths in the country, especially natives of Idoma that the roundabout, located around Ei-Upi in Otukpo, Benue State is the largest in the sub-region.
However, checks by the newspapers have shown that the roundabout is not even the largest in Nigeria not to talk of West Africa.
Our findings have shown that the largest round about in West Africa is the Takoradi Market Circle in Ghana.
The construction of the 300ft Takoradi Market Circle is a forty-eight million-euro (€48 million) project.
The roundabout is not even as big as the Oba Erediauwa Square: Busy Central Roundabout in Benin City.
