FACT-CHECK: Report on how Dunamis Church acquired her Glory Dome land

A report by 50minds, an online news medium quoted Dr. Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre as saying that God hid The Lord’s Garden land, which houses the 100,000 capacity Glory Dome along the Airport Road in Abuja from some notable men of God.

The report, which was aggregated by other websites, including Phoenix, quoted the Senior Pastor of Dunamis as saying, “That God hid the land from Papa Adeboye & Bishop Oyedepo for years.”

WHAT THE MAN OF GOD ACTUALLY SAID
However, fact check by this newspaper revealed that the report is not just untrue and malicious but willfully fabricated to distort the truth for some mischievous intent.

A fact check on the full message titled The Principles And Purpose Of Prayer (1) as delivered on Sunday, 10 July, 2022, showed that the writer quoted Dr Enenche out of context and distorted the story told by the preacher.

The Senior Pastor had while teaching on the subtitle, “What does Prayer seek to Achieve ”, narrated how God miraculously gave the church the Lord’s Garden plot of land despite the fact that it was along a major highway leading to the heart of the nation’s capital.

In his words, “You know this place that we are here, I’ve said it here many times that it was revealed in the vision of the night. Already, we had gotten other big lands like in other places for this same purpose.

“But the Lord ministered unto me and said, I should remember what he showed me in the night, the revelation about this site on the airport road.

“So I called one of our property agents, laid hands on him and I instructed him that ‘on your way to the airport road, look right, the property belonging to this church is seated right there. It is your job to find it, take oil and go bring the land.’

“I anointed him with oil and within seven days, he returned to inform me that he had found the land. When we came to this place, I told them, yes, this is the place the lord showed me.

“When we came in here before the construction started, some God’s servants like Daddy GO (Pastor Adeboye), Papa Oyedepo, Uncle Gbile Akani, and others passed through here and the general thinking amongst most of the people who visited was: ‘even if you have the money, how do you get the land in this kind of place to buy? It showed that it was supplied beyond the scope of the earth.
“Where God gave it, he kept it and at the right time, removed the veil from it and gave it to you.

“There are things that are not hidden from us but hidden for you so that at the right time, you can access it and you can access it at the place of prayer.

“Because you can have some money but you can’t get some things. You can have some connections but you can’t get some things.”

Conclusion
The general public is hereby advised to disregard the report by 50minds, Phoenix and other websites as it was obviously fabricated to tarnish the image of the church and of the senior pastor.
