Farmers rescue Okada from kidnapper in Otukpa

A young man was rescued from the hands of suspected kidnapper in Obu Brach, Otukpa, in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State.

It was gathered that a man, believed  to have come from neighbouring Etutekpe in Kogi State, reportedly lured a motorcyclist, otherwise known as Okada into a nearby bush in Owoso village trying to kidnap him.

An eyewitness, who gave his name as Daniel, said the man raised alarm, which attracted the attention of some farmers in the bush, who came to his rescue.

The suspect reportedly escaped from the scene.

The incident is coming barely two weeks after a man from Efugo,  the country home of Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh went to Ede  Otukpa and took one motorcycle rider from there to the bush at Aiona,  killed him and buried him.
