One person died on Friday when a commercial bus rammed into a truck along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the incident in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Florence Okpe, the FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, informed our correspondent that the collision occurred around 6 pm, just after Danco filling station.
The crash involved three male adults, with one fatality and the rescue of two individuals who sustained no injuries.
The incident involved a Mazda commercial bus with registration LEM56XB, which collided with the truck while traveling at high speed.
“The suspected cause of the crash is speed and dangerous driving,” Okpe disclosed.
She added that the corpse was deposited at the Idera morgue in Sagamu, Ogun State.
