FCT Minister sacks Wadata, appoints Abdulateef Bello as new VIO Director

Malam Muhammad Bello, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has sacked Alhaji Wadata Bodinga, Director, Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS),.

Anthony Ogunleye, Chief Press Secretary to the Minister, announced Dr Abdulateef Bello as the new Director of the Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS).

Before his sack, Bodinga performed in acting capacity.

A statement by said the new appointment was announced at FCT Executive Committee (EXCO) meeting held on Monday.

The statement said the appointment was to strengthen the activities of the directorate.

Until his appointment, Dr. Abdulateef was the Acting Director, Department of Security Services.
