FCTA appoints Nancy Nathan as acting Head of Service after Adayilo’s death

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has appointed Nancy Sabanti Nathan as Acting Head of Service following the death of former officeholder Grace Adayilo.

The announcement was made Tuesday by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister.

Nathan, previously the Permanent Secretary of the Youth Development Secretariat, assumes the role in an acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. She has also served as Director of Finance and Administration in the office of the FCT Minister.

Adayilo, who passed away last Monday, was the first female and first indigenous Head of Service of the FCTA, appointed in October 2024.
