Fear grips Ojukwu university students as three persons die within two days

Students of Chukwuemeka Odumegbu Ojukwu University (COOU) Anambra State, are currently in panic as three of their colleagues have died in multiple accidents which occurred between Friday Nov. 13 and Sunday Nov. 15.

The deceased are Anyachor Maureen(Mandy), Ifeoma Anusionwu and Lovely Ogochukwu. It is also reported that five others including a bus driver, shop owner and passers-by are dead while several others are critically injured.

According to a source, “The first one happened on Friday night at Otoko around 9pm and four students were involved.. The second accident happened on Saturday morning at the same Otoko involving a shuttle which ran into a shop.

Another happened on Saturday evening in front of the school gate

and casualties were recorded and few hours ago an accident happened in front of the same location school with 3 Casualties recorded.

In total we’ve recorded not less than 8deaths in 2 days from four accidents. We heard a king died in the community and there are looking for heads to use and bury him.”
