Prof. Abdullahi Abba, has been appointed as the Chairman, Governing Council, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue.
He was among the heads of NBTE, NCCE, NSSEC, governing council, chairmen whose appointments were recently approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He listed the appointments to include Prof. John Enaohwo as the Chairman, Governing Council of the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) and Prof. Idris Bugaje was appointed the Executive Secretary, National Board For Technical Education (NBTE), Kaduna.
Dr. Benjamin Abakpa was appointed Executive Secretary, National Senior Secondary Education Commission (NSSEC), Abuja, and Prof. Paulinus Okwelle is the new Executive Secretary, NCCE. While Prof. Ibrahim Muhammad is the new Director, Nigerian Arabic Language Village, Ngala, Borno.
The spokesman informed that all the appointments took effect from March 16, 2021.
