Felix Kura: Tears and sorrow as Benue community mourns gallant soldier killed by Boko Haram

Tears and tributes have continued to pout in for Lt. Col Felix Kura, a Benue-born soldier killed by bandits in Nasarawa State on Monday.

Kura, who is from Benue State, was serving in one of the special anti-terrorism unit of the Nigerian army in Nasarawa State.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the soldiers were ambushed and killed by suspected kidnappers during a rescue operation in a forest along the road.

According to local sources, the road has been a safe haven for kidnappers, armed robbers and other criminals since last year.
