Femi Adesina clears air on telling Buhari not to scarp SARS

Femi Adesina, a Special Adviser on Media & Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, has denied ever advising his principal against scraping the now defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

There were reports that Adesina, a former newspaper Editor warned the president not to bow to Twitter warriors.

Adesina has now come out to debunk the report.

He tweeted, “A false story designed to malign me is making the rounds. It says the President was to have scrapped SARS on Friday, but was prevailed on by me not to do so, as government cannot bow to ‘Twitter warriors.’ Evil. Fake. A concoction from the very pit of hell.”
