Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has been named the new chairman of the board of directors for First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) Holdings. This announcement comes as he takes over from the outgoing Chairman, Alhaji Ahmad Abdullahi.
The financial institution officially communicated this change through a corporate filing on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), keeping investors informed about the recent development. Otedola assumed the role of Chairman, effective January 31, 2024, following the decision made during a recent board meeting where he succeeded Alhaji Abdullahi.
