Festus Keyamo reacts as Tinubu releases second batch of ministerial nominees

Former Minister of Labour, Festus Keyamo, has reacted to the second batch of ministerial nominees sent to the Senate by President Bola Tinubu. Keyamo, who was speculated to be a potential nominee, was noticeably absent from the list, IDOMA VOICE reports. 

In a tweet, Keyamo congratulated the individuals who made it to the second batch of nominees, referring to them as “excellent choices.” Despite not being included in the list, he wished them success and divine guidance in their respective assignments.He tweetd, “The second batch of ministerial nominees by President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT are excellent choices. Congratulations to all of them. Wishing them God’s guidance in their various assignments.”

The absence of Keyamo from the list has sparked interest and raised questions among political observers, as he had been a prominent figure in the previous administration. 

With the first and second batches now submitted, the focus will be on the Senate’s deliberations and the eventual formation of the new cabinet. Keyamo’s reaction sheds light on the dynamics and expectations surrounding the selection process and indicates the level of support and goodwill among political circles for those nominated.
