Former Netherlands international and Feyenoord legend Robin van Persie has reportedly been appointed as the new head coach of the Eredivisie club, signing a contract that runs until June 2027.
The Dutch football icon, known for his stellar playing career with Feyenoord, Arsenal, and Manchester United, is set to take on his first senior managerial role, marking a new chapter in his football journey.
According to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who shared the news on X on Friday, Van Persie will have Rene Hake as part of his coaching staff. Hake previously worked as an assistant to Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
“Robin van Persie signs in today as new Feyenoord head coach until June 2027. Former Erik ten Hag’s assistant Rene Hake will join his staff too,” Romano posted.
