FG begins payment of N33, 000 minimum wage to corps members nationwide

It was celebration galore for corps members nationwide as the Federal Government commences payment of minimum wage nationwide.

Confirming this new development, a corps members serving in Ondo who identified himself as Arogbonlo Idowu told Vanguard “the alerts popped in like a thief in the night, it’s really amazing.”

Another corps member from Kaduna, Alemede Evans said: “I feel so excited, I am a chosen generation that I am among the corpers who the government started the payment with,I’m super proud to be a federal government property,2020 is going to be a good year….CORPER WEE.”

It was learnt that only those with Zenith bank have started receiving the payment while other corps members with other banks haven’t received theirs as at the time of filing this report.
