The Federal Ministry of Health will spend N40 million to procure three tricycle ambulances for a Primary Health Care (PHC) facility in Benue State.
According to details of the 2020 budget, N40 million has been budgeted for the procurement of three tricycle ambulance for Odessessa Primary Health Care Centre Okpokwu in Benue State.
The entry did not specify whether the tricycles are constituency projects or line procurements.
The budgetary provisions were only identified by either their Senatorial District or Federal Constituency.
Still under the Ministry of Health, N230 million was approved for the rehabilitation and supply of hospital equipment/drugs for PHCs in the six geopolitical zones.
However, the exact locations for the rehabilitation and drug supply were absent.
Also, N200 million was budgeted under ERGP 22582780 and ERGP 22582781 with the line items as Supply of Medical Equipments and Supply of Medical Equipments/Drugs respectively, but there were no further details on where the items will be delivered.
The absence of the exact locations for these line items will make monitoring and tracking the status of the projects difficult if not impossible.
The Federal Ministry of Health also got budget approval of N100 million for the construction of blocks of classrooms with furniture in Ndokwa/Ukwuani Fed Constituency of Delta State.
